In a survey of international student comparisons, New Zealand came out with a glowing report. Undertaken by the UK based International Insight Group in August 2007 the survey compared responses of thousands of international students in a range of countries. Satisfaction ratings for New Zealand were higher in a number of indicators including teaching, staff expertise safety and cost.
The facts are clear - international students in New Zealand are very satisfied with the experience and the quality of education and so it seems are Indian students. In 2007 the number of Indian students that selected New Zealand as their study destination, increased 50%. Why not let Study and Work New Zealand help you join this trend before it becomes hyper competitive.
With a superb education system, qualifications gained in New Zealand are accepted as equal to the best in the world. For more than one hundred years New Zealand has had a state system which at the primary, intermediate and secondary levels has been free, secular and compulsory. There is also a strong degree of tolerance which enables communities to build and operate private schools along religious or cultural lines.
At the post school or tertiary level, there are 36 public tertiary education institutions, including universities, institutes of technology and polytechnics and approximately 895 private training establishments, registered by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
New Zealand tertiary education providers meet the needs of learners of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and educational backgrounds. They offer courses at different levels, from transition programmes to postgraduate study and research with the key focus being on their ability to offer programmes to the required quality standards.
And you'll find aspects of home in New Zealand with a cross section of Indian society represented in professional, managerial, and administrative positions as well as being prominent in business, medicine, education, politics, sport, and the arts.
